VOXBOX
VoxBox: One audio input, infinite cultural output (2009) is an experiment in curatorial practice with a series of new works developed in response to a single audio source. Featuring a group exhibition from 6 international artists selected from open call, and work from Plymouth’s Café Concrete Collective, VoxBox combines formal gallery space with online platform to open up debates on interpretation taxonomy and access. Each new artwork has been made in response to the same audio clip recorded from a secret location in Plymouth, and contributes to the system of perception, interpretation and remediation, under instructional logic.
