HOW MANY ZEROS DO YOU NEED TO MAKE ONE?
How has theatre art been adapting to the digital era, to the new medias and technologies? In which way computer programming and interactive technology has influenced the live stage? What has theatre gained or lost? Is the role of the actors, the directors, or the dramaturg changed, or it is the same? Is the way of telling a story changed? Can it be called theatre also if it happens through the internet?
Drawing examples from their own collaborative work and from other international artists, Andrea Paciotto and Jan Klug will lead a discussion around the application of new media and interactive technologies in live performance and particularly in theatre. They hope to engage the participant into an open discussion about the future development of theatre.
