Call for applications for participation in workshops during DA Fest 2009

The National Academy of Art in Sofia organises an international digital arts festival, to be held at the academy's main building in the last week of October 2009.
The program includes an exhibition, performances, screenings, workshops and presentations that show contemporary artistic trends, research and technology, and present important advances in the development of electronic and digital arts.
The programme of DA Fest includes three workshops:
* TONEWHEELS, led by Derek Holzer, from October 24 to 27
* SPACE FOR TIME, led by Sachiyo Honda, Rin Yamamura, Too Hajimu, from October 26 to 30
* PERFORMING AUDIO-VISUAL-SCAPES, led by Andrea Paciotto and Jan Klug, from October 27 to 30
Call for applications
This call for applications is aimed at students in masters programs of the National Academy of Arts and interested young artists. The maximum number of participants selected for each of the workshops is 15. For each workshop, 10 places are reserved for students of the academy, while the remaining five places will be distributed among the other candidates.
The working language of the workshops is English.

Applicants should submit a brief curriculum vitae and motivation for their participation in the workshops.
The fee for participation for successful applicants who are not students of the academy is 70 leva for each workshop.
Application deadline is October 15 2009.
Approved participants will be notified by October 20 2009.
