Albena Baeva graduated Restoration  at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia (2003 – 2008). In 2007 she completed a specialization at the Art Academy of Fine Arts, Macerata, Italy, as part of the EU Erasmus programme.  Since 2008 she follows the MA programme in Digital Arts at the National Academy of Arts. She participated in international art exchanges and workshops in the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany and Italy, as well as group exhibitions in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy and Romania, and video performances in Italy. In 2006 “Alido”, a short animation video took part in the City Hide Project’06 in Rome. Her short animation film Death of the Insects was presented at the Filmini Film Fest in the Cinema House in Sofia in 2009. She took part in Sensoria, an interactive installation project at Galleriya Akademiya, during the Museum Night in June 2009. The Runabout Project started in May 2009 with two performances; Fear - Electric Extension of Imagination at Studio Dauhaus in Sofia as part of the Underground Fest and Runabout in Fear at  the Small Season at Sfumato Theatre in Sofia.
