Too Hajimu
Too Hajimu is a Japanese painter and video artist. He is autodidact in sculpture and calligraphy. Later he began to participate with his works in various competitions. At the age of 26, he started to paint. Around the same time he also worked as a graphic designer and art director. Too believes video art is a composite art, so he began to making video works, which he then exhibited in Japan. His most well-known projects include his participation in the group exhibition “Jardin Secret” (secret garden) in Paris in 2007 and the “Japanese Bulgarian Video Art Festival” in 2008, for which he was curator and producer. He has had solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Osaka, and Shanghai in recent years.
