Iassen Markov
Born 1980, graduates from IGMA 2006 and later teaches architectural theory at University of Stuttgart. His way of presenting theoretical knowledge by using simple photoshop tricks results in a series of graphical-narrative worlds which are included in the books "5 Codes: Architecture, Paranoia and Risk in Times of Terror" (Birkhäuser Verlag 2006) and "Faust und der Marquis" (igmade edition 2007) and various magazines such as ARCH+ or Tank Magazine. During his academic work, Iassen Markov teaches courses also at TU Berlin, Architectural Association in London, organizes workshops in Dresden, Frankfurt, Nürnberg where he enlightens the secrets of pixel wisdom. in 2008 Iassen Markov wins a fellowship at Akademie Schloss Solitude and produces the exhibition "Assozziatti – Progetti Internazzionali", creating the missing link between pixel knowledge and architecture. Since beginning of 2009 he is the creative director of the young bulgarian architectural office 2M Proekt.
